Los Gallos are Chicago’s premier Chicano / Americana Roots band. Transcending musical borders, Los Gallos are known for their unsegregated sound. Their roots-oriented style honors their collective musical inheritance by drawing upon traditional Latin sounds and American vibes. Los Gallos seamlessly fuse an eclectic mix of Cumbia, Norteño, Tex-Mex and Bolero with Country, Rock and Blues to create their innovative signature sound.

Ric Salazar

Guitar / Accordion / Vocals
Ric has been a guitarist and vocalist in various Chicago bands ranging from 60’s rock, alt country and Mexican folk music. Ric plays the button accordion, guitars and sings lead vocals.

Enrique(Henry)Fajardo

Guitar / Vocals

Jose Galarza

Bass
Jose got his musical start at the old Town School of Folk Music. Before Los Gallos, he played bass in a local band that specialized in Son Jarocho.

Josh Rosenstein

Lead Guitar / Vocals
Josh has been playing acoustic and electric guitar since his late teens.  He enjoys playing a wide array of musical styles, and loves playing with Los Gallos. 

Raúl Fernández

Drums
Drummer -Raúl is a native Chicagoan who studies and performs a wide range of contemporary and traditional styles of music from all over Latin America. He derives musical inspiration playing drums, percussion, and/or guitar with groups such as El Payo – flamenco fusion rumba and dance, Vicios de Papa – Ska and Reggae, Son del Viento – son jarocho and Azul de Noche – Latin American rhythm and blues.
Raúl also is former member of Sones de Mexico Ensemble Chicago.
